About Us
The Albany Education Foundation provides Albany public schools additional resources to support and enhance educational programs and opportunities.
Since 1995, the scope of grants awarded by AEF has grown. Grant recipients include all school sites and grade levels from TK through high school. Individual teachers can apply for grants to enhance their classroom program, including field trips, author visits, and classroom supplies such as books and manipulatives. During the year as special opportunities arise, teachers can apply for Sally Outis Block Grants for multi-grade or multi-site activities. All new teachers are welcomed to AUSD with a check to help them set up their classrooms. Meet our Board Members
The generous owner of Little Star Pizza will donate 10% of what YOU spend on the first Monday of every month to the Albany Education Foundation. That's 10% whether you eat there, get take out, or have it delivered for lunch or dinner! Little Star has donated thousands of dollars to AEF over the years and is a valuable partner in providing grants to AUSD teachers.
