Cornell Occupations Grant

Cornell Occupations Book GrantEach year the second grade teachers at Cornell School do a study of different occupations. This year, the teachers, lead by Mare Staton, Cornell Librarian, received an AEF grant to purchase a Community Helpers Book Set. This set of books includes more than 30 titles exploring the work of zoo keepers, nurses, custodians, principals, carpenters, pilots, coaches, and many, many more. This picture show students in the Cornell Library using the books.

“The books are the perfect addition to our library. All students will benefit immeasurably from them.”
