Ed Hill Scholarship

AEF Ed Hill Scholarship This AEF scholarship program is made possible by the generosity of family and friends of Ed Hill, Albany High School Art Teacher and Coach for more than 30 years. Ed was a much-loved figure around AHS—by faculty and students alike. In addition, he was an accomplished artist in his own right.

The Ed Hill Scholarship is intended to provide opportunities for AHS students to participate in workshops, classes, and other activities outside of AHS classes that will enhance art skills and expand the breadth and depth of their art experience.

To apply for this scholarship, an Albany High student must satisfy at least two of the following criteria:

• Enrolled as a student in good standing at Albany High School.
• Enrolled currently or previously in at least one AHS visual art class.
• Active in an AHS art-related activity (e.g., mural creation, etc.).

Jacquelyn StuberThe 2006–2007 Ed Hill Scholarship recipient was Jacquelyn Stuber, who will be a Senior at AHS in 2007. This scholarship will help to defray expenses for materials and fees at the San Francisco Academy of Arts, Pre-College Summer Art Experience Program. Jacquelyn plans to take classes in Photography and Drawing & Composition. Already an accomplished photographer, Jacquelyn has compiled an impressive portfolio and has provided photos for AHS student publications.
